When you install the App, we automatically access certain types of information from your Shopify account to provide our services effectively:

• Store Information: Shop domain, store URL, email address, shop owner name, and configured currency/timezone.
• Product Information: Data about the products in your store (titles, IDs, images) to help our AI engine identify and curate relevant TikTok User Generated Content (UGC).
• Widget Engagement Data: When visitors interact with the specialONE widget on your storefront, we collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable metrics (e.g., video views, clicks, conversion lift) to provide you with performance analytics.
• TikTok Content: Public URLs, metadata, and creator handles from TikTok videos that you choose to curate and display via our platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly to provide, maintain, and improve the App. This includes:

• Content Curation: Utilizing our AI engine to discover, analyze, and sync relevant UGC for your specific products.
• Service Provision: Displaying the video widget seamlessly on your storefront.
• Analytics & Optimization: Providing you with a dashboard that shows how embedded videos are impacting your store's conversion rates.
• Customer Support: Communicating with you regarding technical updates, billing, or support inquiries.
• Security & Fraud Prevention: Screening for potential risk or fraudulent activity.

3. Sharing Your Information

We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party services that power our infrastructure (such as Railway for secure hosting) and AI processing APIs, strictly for the purpose of running the App.
• Shopify: We share necessary data with Shopify to ensure smooth integration, billing, and compliance with Shopify's ecosystem.
• Legal Compliance: We may share your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App places a lightweight script on your storefront to render the video widget. This script may use essential cookies or local storage strictly necessary to ensure the widget loads quickly, maintains formatting, and securely tracks aggregated performance metrics (like video clicks). We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA & Shopify Webhooks)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), California, or other jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

We are fully compliant with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks:

• Customer Data Request: We will provide customer data upon request.
• Customer Redact: We will permanently delete customer data upon request.
• Shop Redact: If you uninstall the App, we will purge your store's data from our active databases in accordance with Shopify's guidelines.

6. Data Retention and Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. When you uninstall the App, we will retain your store information only as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations or resolve disputes, after which it will be permanently deleted from our servers.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes via email or a notification within the App dashboard.
